No. I'm blonde blue eyes and only attracted to Caucasians. I don't care if I get flamed, but I want my kids to look like me (Scandinavian descent) and only dated people who wouldn't have super dominant genes. I'm not racist and have no problem with anyone daring whoever they want. For me it was just a preference.
Funny. I'm blond/blue, too and those are the weaker traits. More prone to skin cancer etc. Married an Arab guy. Very glad my son has darker skin than me.
Weird how genes work. I'm Asian and married to a blond, blue-eyed man of Scottish descent. Our child is the spitting image of his dad; the only thing he got from me is a more olive complexion, as opposed to the ruddy, yet pale Scottish complexion my husband was blessed with. I've seen other half Asian/half white kids with almost blonde hair and blue eyes too. It happens.
Oh yes, it does happen. I didn't mean to imply I married to have darker skinned kids or assumed it would be the case. I'm Scottish/Dutch, and EVERYONE in my extended family has had skin cancer. I didn't care what my kid looked like, but I'm grateful he's got more natural protection than my family. (Yes he still uses sunscreen).
