Dh knew it wasn't my style (and double checked with me that I didn't want it as is) and then had the diamond taken out and got a band he knew I would love. Saved a hell of a lot of money not having to buy a diamond! Plus the diamond holds sentimental meaning to me since it was my grandmothers (who I was very close to) and it was given to her from my grandfather (who I never met). [/quote]
