Football is an important money maker for schools. Having a winning team can bring broadcast, merchandise and alumni money. These can fund better athletic and academic programs, equipment, teachers and facilities which attract more applicants and better students. The students go out and get good jobs and support the school with more donations. People often look the other way when it comes to money.[/quote]
