My parents have a hard time restricting milk, and would let my 3 year old consume nothing but milk - the mentality is, "At least she's drinking milk, so we shouldn't be worried." In poor, vegetarian communities milk is a critical part of the diet, so it's not seen as such a huge problem to be consuming only the "best" thing. [/quote]
