ITA.  As a kid, I was considered very smart and have the resume to "prove" it.  DH was not considered that smart and wasn't pushed in school, yet I would consider him smarter than me and better at life in general.  I have 3 kids.  The oldest probably has the highest IQ, but man that kid is lazy.  My middle child has drive and ambition like nobody's business - I am not worried when he brings home average grades because I know he will always land on his feet.  My youngest is super smart and laid back but has an entertainer's personality.  Again, I'm not worried.  Everyone has their strengths and weaknesses - IQ is nothing but a number when you're driven.
