OMG that sounds disgusting. Ugh. We were pretty horrified by them when we moved in 4 years ago but we never had numbers like that. We use sticky traps, which work quite well, and the cats catch the ones that get by the traps. To my knowledge the cats haven't had digestive issues like another PP's cats ... but they don't really eat many of them, they seem to just kill and dismember them and leave the parts for DH and me to clean up. Gross but better than dealing with live ones. However, it does mean we check the basement right before guests come over in case the cats have left cricket parts around in the TV area. Wouldn't want guests to see that.[/quote]
