Nope, just don't like it when someone says something incorrect. I tell them why it's incorrect and provide a site. W/o reading it, the stupid DCUM mudslinging starts and I am told to "get a clue". So I tell them to read the thread the next time before hurling insults. As for the string of "Buds", I didn't type them, I just went to wikipedia, and click click, cut and paste. Four seconds max it took. And for the record, to the person who seems to think we can only post stuff relevant to DMV (huh??? LOOK at the demographics on this website), I am not in DMV at all. The sun is still shining.
OK, so it is your contention that the thousands of moms and dads out there who we see calling their sons "bud" or "buddy" are all doing so because the child is a jr.? I am impressed that you know this little factoid and even had a personal law school classmate who applied to, but seriously, that is just absurd. These people are calling their sons "bud" as a term of endearment. These same folks use alternate terms like "sweetie" for their daughters. I personally know several people who call their sons "bud" and I know for certain that the kids are not jrs.
What's absurd?
