Is this a joke? If you want to just get down to the facts of schools, then I guess OP shouldn't even think of considering McLean because Langley is "clearly superior." However, given the other factors (ease of commute, $1.5 mill price tag, etc.) McLean High School was raised as another option. Wonderful for you if you think McLean HS is so far superior to N. Arlington's version, and I suppose if you're sending your kids there and that makes you feel better, sure, feel free. I'm not sure what people do at their Country Club Hills barbecues (WTF?) either, but my guess is it's not wishing they lived across the border so they could send their kids to McLean High School. Between the two HS options (neither of which are Langley), I'd guess that housing stock would probably way far more heavily in the decision between the two neighborhoods.[/quote]
