Sure, San Marco had dishes like Pappardelle al Cinghiale, with actual house-made pappardelle, and was as cheap or cheaper than Past Mia. But on the other hand, Pasta Mia always had (has?) a line going around the block--like Georgetown Cupcakes! And we know how much people like to think they're participating in a cultural phenomenon... (The chef at San Marco was brought over from Florence, btw.)[/quote]
