I REALLY wish people would stop repeating this.  My 17 year old would be mighty upset if either meet was cancelled - but relays in particular.  It's his favorite meet of the year (and I know he's not the only one).[/quote]

I agree that teens still like these meets, but not to the same level that the under high school crowd loves them.  High School kids have more going on in their lives, more activities, sports, friends, travel, etc. so it is not to the same level of importance.  And as a kid ages up their world expands and NVSL becomes smaller and smaller in the priorities.  Working, applying for colleges, internships, long course, etc.  all end up taking over.  So it is not as big of a deal, it just isn't.  [/quote]
