He can indeed. Usually his dad or I will adjust to snug up the tabs a bit more while actually getting him tucked into bed, or less often we'll do it for him if he's knocked out and drowsy. But these days mostly he just does it himself.

I haven't noticed accidents get more frequent when he's tired, to be honest. With him it's always been pretty much consistent, doesn't matter what he does or doesn't drink before bedtime or in the evening etc.[/quote]
