Payment, or non-payment, of taxes has nothing to do with whether a person's kids are entitled to attend a specific public school. You are entitled to attend the public school where you reside. Period. I can't speak for any other schools, but I know that a if a family moves out of DC at our highly sought-after charter school, they will not be permitted to attend anymore, even if they offer to pay tuition. And they sure won't be permitted to retain a spot from year to year. [/quote]
