I'm continually amazed that so many people act as though people never emigrate or move countries. People do so every day. It's more involved than many Americans realize but it is not the impossible feat so many people act like it is.

Both my husband and I have professional degrees on the list of desired talent for many countries, and we are not exceptional. We have family abroad in a few countries. We can prove ancestry for a few others. And we are descendants of slaves, meaning we have less documentation of our history than most white people.

If you want to move, you most likely can. It won't be fast or cheap but it is very possible. [/quote]
