I see all new options E to H only benefit Wootton HS above other schools.
It does not and current Wootton parents are deathly against it. Wootton is screwed with every option. Wootton always had a target in its back because of the high Asian population. The county wants to spread out some of that brainpower.
I have no skin in the game but to me, Wootton cluster should be strongly supporting Option H. Sure, is it perfect? No. But it’s the only chance Wootton HS students will get to learn in a new, safe building in the 12-15 years. Renovation of Wootton isn’t in the current CIP and we know how easily and often school renovations are delayed even if they are in the CIP. It keeps Wootton together and the location difference between the current Wootton and Crown isn’t much.
