I should have been clearer - Americans don’t really care who wins debates when both candidates have all their faculties. Hillary Clinton wiped the floor with Trump 3 times and look where it got us.[/quote]No, she didn't.  One book by Democrats said they thought she was losing the first debate, until she brought up the beauty pageant at the end and Trump went wild.
Trump won the other debates.  One just by dominating the picture, the takeaway for everyone was that he was stalking her, though the reality is he was just going back to his podium.
The third debate, Chris Wallace won Trump the election.  He decided to borrow from The West Wing and go deep into every topic, to expose how dumb is Trump.
Instead Trump got to spend the first half hour of the debate on topics important to voters in swing states, and flipped Pennsylvania and Wisconsin and Michigan.[/quote]
