No, that is not the truth. Yes, it is good that you wash your hands. Yes, washing your hands can prevent some spread of germs. But vaccines prime your immune system to fight off specific germs when you are exposed to germs that you can't get rid of by washing your hands (like breathing them in). DTaP might be covered by your insurance after 10 years because that is the recommended booster time frame. [/quote]
