Yeah that was bad. But he also wasn’t even that into her in the pods until she started sexually seducing him phone-sex-style him through the wall.
And then of course when he saw her he was thinking “jackpot!” But the way she was all over him with the kissing both at the reveal and at the breakup where she neglected to actually make it clear she was breaking up with him was brutal. You can’t really fault him for not having a clue.
