Wealthiest neighborhoods in DC have little to no traffic cameras. For instance, you will never catch a traffic camera on Chain Bridge Road. [/quote]

There’s one on my ward 3 street (erroneously listed as ward 2 on the dc.gov list: https://ddot.dc.gov/sites/default/files/dc/sites/ddot/publication/attachments/ATE%20Active%20Locations%20as%20of%20%20November%202023.pdf There’s at least one other error on the list (Loughboro camera is ward 3, not ward 2).

I don’t mind the camera being there, but I question the settings. The camera seems to be triggered by stops with the front wheels just slightly across the white line or by very brief stops, but not by vehicles that completely blow through the stop sign. If safety is actually the goal, the latter should clearly be the priority, but perhaps the cameras aren’t up to the task of capturing a high-speed vehicle, in which case much less dangerous behavior as listed above is being punished instead. Curious if others have witnessed the same behavior o with other cameras. [/quote]
