What do I not understand ?[/quote] If this is the same kid at my DC’s school, I heard that although Stanford was the perfect choice on paper for their interests and kid liked Stanford. In the end, they preferred the east coast and has multidisciplinary academic interests. I think the kid really loved MIT, but Harvard would be better in case they changed their mind about major like many college students do. Ability to cross-register at MIT as a Harvard student is also a plus and put Harvard above Princeton and Yale for that reason. [/quote]
