They had the option to go elsewhere right up until they get picked up for deportation. They were here illegally and they knew it. Getting deported is not a vacation or concierge service where they get to pick an adventure.[/quote]

You seem to have the attention span of a gnat. Many were here LEGALLY. The came legally. They applied for asylum. They had legal status.
