Why not close Tues too, you know to prepare for a foot of snow? 9 days break!!!!!!!!!
Mid-Winter Break!!!!!!!!! That's what occurs this very week in some of the northeast! It's finally come to Maryland albeit unplanned............................. Oh never mind THANKS MARYLAND LAW!
Haha I am very pro February break, but this would not be what I meant.
I know it's just a coincidence that this blizzard is happening in week of President's Day but the only worse school calendars are in Pennsylvania (or any other such place) that is insane to not have a full week off in the spring!
I lived in MA previously where the schools did February break and April breakā¦. agree it would not be cool to do February and not another later. Do they do that in PA?
Most PA school districts apparently only have ONE week plus long break the entire school year between Christmas and New Year's and even that is still not 2 full weeks. They typically have a 4-day weekend at President's Day and a 4 or 5-day weekend around Easter. The only exceptions are Philly, Pitt and Harrisburg (and possibly nearby districts) who have a full week off in the spring. If going 3 1/3 months is long how do the students and teachers make it FIVE MONTHS without a FULL break?
