I assume the announcement is coming but it hasn’t happened officially yet as far as I am aware
March 31 and June 6 should be the makeup days as they are marked as possible makeup days but they'll probably do June 17 based on the last one being June 16.

And which ones are you looking at?
Looks even lower again - 1 to 4 inches maybe? I'm relieved

Mid-Winter Break!!!!!!!!!
That's what occurs this very week in some of the northeast!
It's finally come to Maryland albeit unplanned............................. Oh never mind THANKS MARYLAND LAW!
Haha I am very pro February break, but this would not be what I meant.
I know it's just a coincidence that this blizzard is happening in week of President's Day but the only worse school calendars are in Pennsylvania (or any other such place) that is insane to not have a full week off in the spring!
I lived in MA previously where the schools did February break and April break…. agree it would not be cool to do February and not another later. Do they do that in PA?
Anonymous wrote:Too early to predict (and this thread has been going for days!). Per CWG:
Wednesday into Thursday. There’s potential for a major storm, but confidence in how much accumulation we see in the D.C. area is still low as the storm track remains uncertain. Highs both days in the upper 20s to mid-30s. Confidence: Low
Snow potential index — 6/10 (↑): Chance of snow Wednesday-Thursday has climbed above 50/50. Still hard to say whether the storm will be memorable, middling or a miss.

There’s no blizzard. Current forecast is under 4 inches in DMV.
