I don’t get the people who say they save money with a Tesla. With the $10-$15K premiums built in to the price of the car, the EV fees added to your annual car registration to make up for gas taxes, the $1K-3K you pay an electrician to add a charger to your garage, it seems you’re just paying for your gas upfront. But I did own TSLA stock and these people made me quite a bit of money. Thank you.
Better sell that stock soon or you will not make any money! EVs are a superior version of a car. They are cheap to run, fun to drive and very convenient to charge. Never having to stop at a gas station is the best. I do not even know what gas prices are. I do not own a Tesla but another manufacturer. We got the full tax credit and the EV was cheaper vs the gas model. DC was no taxes on EV, no emissions test, no “special” fee for EV and gave a $1,500 to install a charger. Not paying an excise tax on EV was a big savings(like 5-6%). Now I a pay about $8-$10 for equivalent of a tank of gas and no stopping at the gas station because I charge at home(and I am always ending up a home). If Trump would let the Chinese cars in they would be priced around half of what the equivalent gas car. The way the market is trending EVs will be a lot cheaper vs gas cars. It takes half the man hours to make. Once they get up to size and scale of gas powered car manufacturing you could see really nice new cars costing between $10-$20k.
You didn’t read my post. I did sell the stock and I did make a ton of money. Enough to retire on very very well.
