The conservative Republicans in my family are as anti-trans as they are anti-gay (I am gay). These are the ones who are very religious.

The more "liberal" Republicans in my family are fine with trans people, fine with gay people & gay marriage, and fine with immigrants as long as they come legally. These are the ones who are no longer religious.

I come from a large family. My mom is the youngest of 11 and my dad is the middle of 7. I have 37 first cousins just on my mom's side. In total I have 59 first cousins. My parents are both from WV and moved our family to VA when I was young. My cousins who went to college and moved out of WV are all liberal/Democrats. Those who stayed in WV are all Republicans. The MAGA relatives are mostly on my mom's side and are her siblings and their offspring who are the poorest. The ones who never moved out of the family holler and have seen very little of the world outside of their tiny WV county. [/quote]
