It's much easier for the Republicans and Democrats to just hate the other "side" while closing their eyes and assuming their "side" has some genuinely good intent to look after the interests of all Americans. Most Americans don't realize this but the political struggle is no longer right vs left. The political struggle is between the American people vs the ultra wealthy and powerful donating entities of our two major political parties. Needless to say, the ultra wealthy are winning.
