Hand washing uses more water for an equivalently full dishwasher.

Instead of 20 minute shower; take a 10 minute.

If it's yellow let it mellow, if it's brown flush it down.

Delay laundry for a few days if you can.

It's no longer a lower income issue and really hasn't been for a long time, tho if you are on this site, you will think you are lower income when you see some of these posters. People are in for a very uncomfortable reality if they don't try to conserve and wake the F up to what's going on and has been going on![/quote]

I grew up poor to the point electric and water got shut off. Once, water was off for months. So the past tense applies to me.  I added "are" lower income because I'm not going to assume everyone here is upper income. I am now and my habits have changed from 30 years ago. No doubt. My assumption is some people have never lived this way. My children included. [/quote]
