All were well intentioned people but most had some type of baggage younger women don’t - drinking / drug problem, past family trauma, taking care of older relative, too busy at work to commit / marry, weight issues etc.  Mostly average physical traits myself included, and coin flip as to whether the sex itself was better though they were definitely faster to say yes because they knew what they wanted and were often time constrained, with the added bonus that protection became very optional in their 40s.

Feels like everyone here is looking for the fresh break up / divorce where the woman was totally normal and just wronged by abuse, cheating or neglect.  I can assure you that is less than 20 percent of the 20 percent and I would not encourage men to specifically change their dating preferences to seek that out.  I was always “equal opportunity” age wise but honestly just ended up with older women a lot because I matured later socially and wasn’t always deemed as attractive by those my age. [/quote]
