Yes. But the groups who will mostly be impacted voted for him. We were told that we are condescending to try and help, warn, prevent. So. There it is.

Yup!  By and large the lower income people in the Deep red states---they utilize many social services programs---programs that are mostly funded by the Blue States (most blue states give far more to fed govt than they take).  They want to cut many of those programs---which will mean those people have less services.  Those states are largely the lower performers for Education---so we will eliminate the Dept of Education and leave it up to the states.  Well how does the money work?  Will it still flow from the Fed Govt?  Or is that up to the states now?  If it is, Arkansas, Alabama, etc will certainly not improve with less money to fund education.  And with no federal guidelines, they will remove real history and science from the schools and turn religious.

But yes, I am done feeling sorry for people like that.  You thought it was difficult to survive now, wait until the economy is doing worse and you don't have half your social services available anymore, and you no longer have any healthcare.  The poor will simply get poorer with this plan.
