There were good 2028 players who left for MD teams before middle school.  For the recent high school tryouts, ALL of the best remaining players tried out for Capital and every one who made the top team accepted the offer.

The 2028 Blue team surprisingly tied Hero's yesterday, so probably slightly less squirming today.  Play day games mean nothing and Capital will still likely struggle this year, but there definitely seems to be potential to compete with top teams.

Maybe it had absolutely nothing to do with Capital at all?  If they found a great team to be on that fits them then why leave?  Capital is doing just fine as evidenced yesterday. [/quote]Evidence yesterday suggests they'd be around the 25th or 26th ranked team based on last year's results.  Or just ahead of Stars Light Blue.[/quote]
