People will come to your birthday, holiday, housewarming, graduation, wedding, or whatever party. Why is it some bizarre rule that a shower must be hosted by someone not related to you? But I think it’s ridiculous that someone who can afford all the baby gadgets wants a shower to force poorer relations to buy things. And if not normal baby things, a book shower sounds incredibly boring and stupid. Just have a sip and see after the baby is born.
