But God has a purpose and plan for designing sex to be experienced within that covenant relationship. It’s a beautiful physical expression of two coming together as one. No morning-after regret. No angst of insecurity with whether he will call afterward, no pregnancy “scare” or crisis of circumstance, just love and comfort and safety and warmth and overwhelming joyful feeling of giving to each other and belonging to one another for eternity. Sure—there are other ways to experience a sexual relationship. But God wants His best for us and instructs that physical intimacy is deliberately designed for marriage. [/quote]
