We told each other everything so it’s not like they were sneaking around. In fact I was the first in my group at 19 in college. Even then, I wish I had waited to be in a more stable relationship instead of casually dating someone. Now my kids are the in the smart cohort and none of their friends are dating yet so I’m kind of expecting a similar path.

My parents had no input and nothing to do with when I first had sex.
Please try not to normalize pedophilia for younger generations.
While I’m glad that you don’t choose to carry any harm as a result of being a victim of that experience, there is nothing normal about a 35 year old man preying on a 17-year-old child.
I wish you much happiness.

I’d personally prefer college, but I’ve read some posts here say they’d prefer high school so they can supervise, support and coach their kids.

Gross.
Just because no one supervised your childhood which obviously led to age-inappropriate actions at such a young age doesn’t mean you need to try to normalize this for everyone else’s kids.
Just no.
16 is the average age PP
There is nothing gross about it. Sex is great and I’m not gonna lie, teen sex was insanely good. I lost my v card at 15 and no regrets.
I would never shame my teens so long as it’s consensual and they use protection.

Seriously. I can’t stop thinking about a parent preferring their child to have a bunch of casual sexual relationships instead of a serious romantic relationship. Like it’s better to risk pregnancy or sexual violence with a stranger than experience emotional intimacy. I can’t get my brain around it.

After marriage.

“Controlled environment” PP?
What’s controllled about it? You standing by with a video camera? Outside the door with a cup of hot cocoa to chat about it after?
What exactly are you envisioning is happening inside your “controlled environment” for experimental teen sex at home?
This might be the strangest thread I’ve ever encountered on here.
And weirdly, the parents advocating for pushing your teens to have sex while in high school are going to be the same ones telling the rest of us we are “too involved” in decorating our kid’s dorm……
