Changing to to 8:30 or 9.[/quote] 10:00 to 8:00 is enough sleep. Many kids need or naturally want to wake earlier and if that's your kid then you're right 10:00 is too late. But Fairfax county doesnt start elementary school until 9:10. So many kids don't wake until 8:00 or even later. I'm a parent with a 4th grader who has sports practices until 9:00 and I was initially freaking out about it becauseI also believed all kids should be asleep by 8:30 or something like that, but its been OK. And actually kind of nice to have the flexibility to do things later.[/quote]
