I'm very aware of this right now as my Wegovy has caused some serious constipation and my doctor was concerned. In short: every meal I eat has protein and something with fiber. Breakfast = plain greek yogurt, 1 TB seeds (chia/hemp/flax mix), and berries (raspberry, blackberry, strawberry or a mix of both) and two prunes every day. I do eat "an apple a day" either with lunch or as a snack for the fiber. I have a lot of dishes with beans for lunch/dinner (veggie chili, mujadara, black bean enchiladas, etc). I also have bowls made with either brown rice or quinoa and a protein and veggies and that is almost always topped with avocado. I eat a lot of roast veggies, etc. I'm just paying attention in a way I didn't before.
I had the same issue while taking Wegovy (and not even a high dose — never got past 1 mg). Even with daily chia seeds, berries, oats, nuts, veggies, etc. I struggled a lot. Has your approach actually worked?
