I liked being on a campus that felt like a cocoon (previous crime excluded). It was a smaller school in the 90s (3600 students), and I loved that size. I drove onto campus when we visited and fell in love. Granted, the wealthy country club vibe was there, but probably not quite as strong. It was actually reasonably priced as private schools went at the time. I was NOT wealthy, but had gone to a parochial HS so it wasn’t as off putting to me. Anyway, I had a great 4 years and have kept in touch with a lot of my friends. Not a ton right here in this area, but a few.[/quote]
