A short guy can find a woman, but the woman may not be "high value" according to most men.  Most average to below average people have to settle to some degree, and not shoot for above their league.

There is a lid for every pot, if people are willing to lower their expectations.  My brother is 5'4", only earns like $90K and managed to find a wife (who is also 5'4"), but she is not "high value" -- ordinary in every sense of the word.

There is 0 reason why a short guy can't land a "high value" girl.  Sure, being short is a liability, but so is [fill in the blank] characteristics.  He just has to be smart and not settle for the first girl that pays attention to him.  Being fat is so much worse because that truly demonstrates a character flaw, e.g., laziness.[/quote]
