I think I’m going to take a couple months off from trying and need a reset.
I run 5x a week, have visible abs, work out, wear tailored shirts….the vibes just seem off
I could be in better shape (my bf % is probably high teens and not 11-13%)
But outside of 3x-ing my income, I think having a family is most likely not going to happen.
TikTok has most definitely made Americans more shallow and frankly, stupid.

So basically he can’t just have an average career or will end up alone.
A short guy can find a woman, but the woman may not be "high value" according to most men. Most average to below average people have to settle to some degree, and not shoot for above their league.
There is a lid for every pot, if people are willing to lower their expectations. My brother is 5'4", only earns like $90K and managed to find a wife (who is also 5'4"), but she is not "high value" -- ordinary in every sense of the word.
There is 0 reason why a short guy can't land a "high value" girl. Sure, being short is a liability, but so is [fill in the blank] characteristics. He just has to be smart and not settle for the first girl that pays attention to him. Being fat is so much worse because that truly demonstrates a character flaw, e.g., laziness.

Eh, it is what it is. You can't do anything about height, and if men or women want to mock you for something genetically out of your control then that toxicity is on them. They're the same kind of people who would mock people with Down's Syndrome, because it is the same thing.

OP - this stuff has to run two ways. You don’t want him to get overlooked because he is not tall. Make sure he doesn’t overlook a great woman because she is not thin or classically pretty.

I proclaimed I wanted a taller guy after dating someone 5’8” for many years. Then I dated some taller men who weren’t great, and I quickly realized that was a really dumb checklist item to have.
Ultimately I married my husband, who is exactly my height at 5’6”. He’s kind, funny, confident, and a great cook. I never even really thought about his shortness since I was attracted to him.
But now that I have a som I sometimes feel myself rooting for him to grow taller (for sports and relationship purposes). I have to remind myself that it’s not important—I grew out of being shallow in that way and many other shallow women will too. It’s much harder to find a great guy than a tall one.
