They might also have to do another boundary shift to even things out so anyone can transfer anywhere, because they aren’t allowing transfers to WHS this year given how crowded it is, but we have friends who did exactly this, also for basketball and to stay with friends, just a few years ago. So might be hope for you when it’s time. Off topic, but I think going to WHS is probably really good for high achieving kids who plan to apply to selective colleges their families can afford without scholarships, because there are just fewer kids doing that for financial or academic reasons. Maybe there are some trade-offs to attending a school with the demographics of WHS, but there’s also some benefit for the type of student I’ve described. [/quote]
