FWIW, I'm a college counseling tutor Wyzant with an advanced degree and recent experience reading applications for a university. I've never used Chat GPT, nor would I ever "help" a student by providing them an essay. (I also make no promises about where a student will get in. That definitely seems like a red flag.)

Not every student needs or wants an essay coach, and not every student can afford one, which is part of why I also volunteer in this capacity. That said, I'm confident that I'm helpful to the students who work with me.[/quote]
