Which shows that the whole "didn't want to risk the friendship" thinking is flawed. Plus, people always say they want their partner to be their best friend; why not try dating a friend? Plus, friendships are much more fleeting than marriage anyway; the bigger risk to the friendship is *not* getting married.[/quote]

We were good friends and never discussed risking the relationship. We went from friends to lovers so fast there was no time for a discussion. And after the fact it was too late anyway. I’m a very thoughtful and analytic person but not that night. [/quote]
