Google Frankie Valli’s recent “performances.” He’s like 90 years old and his back up singers belt out like 95% of the vocal while he shuffles around and pretends to sing every now and then. In one video, he even had a stool set up for his liquids, tissues and other things needed to get him through the performance.
This is hysterical!
There’s even a guy claiming to be from Frankie’s band that swears that he’s not lip synching. Meanwhile, half the time the microphone is not even near his mouth, his lips aren’t moving, yet he’s somehow able to still hit all those high notes.l like he’s 20. When he talks to the audience in between songs he mumbles and seems frail. Yet, again, he’s somehow able to pull off “singing” and sounding near perfect for 2 hours. My mom, who is the same age (90), can’t even talk for two minutes without being winded. Yet, Frankie has a full concert schedule for 2024! If people want to pay to look at Frankie, that’s fine, but otherwise it’s a tribute band playing Frankie’s recorded vocals.
