And to the other poster who said she gave up because she didn't have resources, seriously? I don't personally know any mother that would abandon her children in that way, even against insurmountable odds. Do you?[/quote]

You should listen to the song "What it's Like" by Everlast. People have to make terrible difficult choices all the time.

But I would argue that we have very little insight into her relationships or lack thereof with those kids and have no knowledge of how much she has in fact fought to reunite with them and extract them from the cult.
