I had my kids young, when I was 47 my granddaughter was five.  Lots of people now look down on that but I wouldn't have had it any other way.

I’m not the pp but to be a grandmother at 42 is not ok. That would put either one at having a teen pregnancy or both having children at barely out of the teenage years.

Yes, odd.  Certainly not typical today.  However, I also am not and never did complain about my choices in life because I've been happy and satisfied.  I watched my mother try to parent kids from babies to teens in her 40s and 50s while working and running a household and did not want to do that myself.[/quote]
