I used to work for the government making $125K, I now make more than $200K more than that so in theory I could afford private school since my family did just fine on my government salary. But now I have much less job security, so I feel like I need to save a lot more and am not comfortable sending my kids to private until I have saved enough so that I could live off of investments. Unless you are a doctor, most jobs that pay well don't have much job security. [/quote]
