[/quote] This is the kind of binary thinking that I saw a lot of during the COVID vaccination/mask debates. If gun control doesn't completely eliminate murders, it's not worth doing at all. If vaccinations/masks don't prevent illness, only reduce its prevalence and severity, it's not worth doing at all. The obvious point is that a person of bad intent can kill more people faster with a gun than with a knife. [/quote]
