I’ve been a VF rescue tech for 12 years and I’ve read about more kids dead in older 2dr Honda Civics than any other car. They are way, wayyyyyyy over represented in fatal crashes with teen drivers. [/quote]

I drove my dad’s 2017 2 door civic for 9 months and it literally felt like it was going to fall apart while driving. I only drove it to and from work and rarely on the highway but hated it. Ironically my dad just recently hit a deer with it and only did relatively minor damage to the car. Big tuft of hair on the lights though. [/quote]

My commuter is a 2023 Civic EX and for what it is- an economy sedan, I think it drives pretty awesome.  It’s peppy, hugs the road and is comfortable.

As for Jeeps, been there done that.  I like the older more utilitarian Jeeps.  Not into Jeep sedans.  I can’t speak to how the new ones drive and handle, but the reviews from the experts aren’t too favorable, nor are the reliability reports.[/quote]
