I agree, but this is the hill that millions of American gun owners are willing to die on. Apparently this is one of the most important rights they feel they have as American citizens. They don't care about the thousands of people that are killed or maimed every year by guns or who take their own lives with a gun. They have proven it time and again. They...don't...care. It's baked into their worldview and nothing, not even the images of dead children from Sandy Hook, Uvalde, etc. has changed that. I will continue to support common sense gun reform through voting and monetary contributions, but I'm not holding my breath that anything will change substantially any time soon. [/quote]
