Of course, the driving has to actually be unsafe and the situations where going the speed limit is unsafe are few and far between. My husband's friend once got a ticket for going the speed limit, but it was because he was hanging out in the left lane on a three-lane freeway and everybody else was going 10-15 over. IMO it's ridiculous that they ticketed for that instead of ticketing for going 10-15 over but he should have known better. That said, I am sure that nobody here who advocates for going the speed limit would think it's okay to do what DH's friend did. I can't believe people hear that somebody goes the speed limit and automatically assume they are obstructing traffic on a multi-lane road. [/quote]
