For me personally, I admit it is very hard.  When I converted to Christianity, I was younger, life was simpler and I thought I had satisfying answers for the question of evil.  Now as I live life and get older, I realize that this is a question that will haunt me and probably every serious Christian until the day we die.  I am a very empathetic person and it doesn't take a great deal to upset me greatly.  As a parent now, it is very hard for me to understand evil commit against children.  It evokes a visceral reaction in me and pits me into despair.  All that is left is faith.  Faith that we do not see the full picture, and that God does all things for the good of his children.  Faith that heaven is so beautiful that it can make all the suffering and evil in this world fade away.  I am at a point where every evil and suffering I see and experience, while I feel the pain, I also have an accompanying sense of awe at how great God and Heaven must therefore be.[/quote]
