I agree that he has very minuscule or no chance at Princeton.. But how do you stop your kid from taking his shots.

Duke in general has a preference for Carolina kids but I don’t think there is preference for kids from our school.

He started with Cornell, U penn, Duke and Princeton for Ed/ rea. Was able to eliminate Cornell (does not like the intense culture) but liked Duke’s play hard, work hard culture. Upenn is also in the running but again, I don’t think they have any preference for kids from our school.

I think he also knows that he has a very small chance at Princeton but he is a kid who is used to shooting for stars but also is very used to dealing with disappointments (comes from playing sports) so will be able to get over it quickly and pivot to other options.
